Do you accept walk-in patients?
While we do accommodate walk-ins when possible, we highly recommend scheduling an appointment in advance to reduce wait time and ensure doctor availability.
What payment options are available?
We accept cash, card payments, and bank transfers. For selected treatments, installment plans may be available upon request and subject to eligibility.
Are your dental implants and crowns completed in one day?
Yes. We specialize in same-day dental implants and crowns, depending on the case complexity and medical eligibility. Diagnostic tests and 3D scanning help us determine suitability during your initial consultation.
Do you provide treatment warranties?
Cayo Dental provides limited warranties for selected treatments such as crowns, bridges, and implants, subject to clinical conditions and post-care compliance. Fillings do not come with a warranty due to biological factors beyond our control.
Are your services available to foreign patients?
Yes! We have a dedicated International Patient Service with customized packages that include treatment coordination, airport pickup, local transport, accommodation options, and post-treatment support.
Is there a reservation fee for foreign patients?
Yes. A non-refundable $50 reservation fee is required to confirm your appointment. This fee will be deducted from your final treatment bill.
Do you provide accommodations for patients?
Yes. Free accommodations are available for eligible patients traveling from outside Kandy, subject to availability. For foreign patients, we offer partner hotel arrangements and recommendations depending on your treatment package.
What brands of materials do you use for dental treatments?
We use globally recognized brands such as Sofu, Fuji, and 3M for fillings, and high-quality materials for crowns, bridges, and implants, including porcelain and zirconia.
Is there a refund policy for cancellations or incomplete treatments?
All fees paid are non-refundable once treatment begins. In case of cancellation prior to treatment commencement, certain refunds or credit transfers may be considered under our discretion and outlined terms.
How do I claim my treatment warranty?
You must register your treatment warranty at the time of completion. Claims must be made within the validity period and are subject to clinical evaluation by our doctors. Contact our Patient Management Unit for support.
Is post-treatment follow-up available?
Yes. Our Patient Management Unit ensures proper follow-up, especially for treatments like implants, crowns, dentures, and root canals. You’ll be guided on reviews, aftercare, and long-term management.
What should I bring on my first visit?
Please bring your NIC or passport, any medical history documents, and previous dental records if available. For minors, a guardian’s NIC and consent are required.
