How Payments Work at Cayo Dental

We know dental treatments are a big decision — and payments shouldn’t feel like a confusing one. At Cayo Dental, we’ve designed our payment process to be simple, flexible, and transparent, so you can focus on your smile, not the paperwork.



🦷 First Things First: The Consultation Fee

To reserve your appointment with one of our expert dentists, we charge a consultation fee of LKR 3,000.00 (approx. 10 USD).

This is required for all patients — new or returning.


🗓️ How Do I Pay It?

Great question! You’ve got options:


✅ Option 1: Pay Online While Booking


  • Secure your appointment instantly
  • If you start treatment on the same day, this fee will be deducted from your final bill
  • If you don’t start treatment that day — no worries — the fee still covers your consultation

✅ Option 2: Pay at the Clinic (Onsite)


  • Pay when you arrive at the clinic
  • This fee is non-deductible from your treatment — even if treatment starts the same day

Note: For payments in foreign currency, conversions are made using the official exchange rate. Any additional fees (bank charges, currency conversion) must be borne by the patient.



📊 What About Payment Plans?


We offer installment payment plans for selected procedures. These are:

  • Custom-designed based on your treatment and budget
  • Approved on a case-by-case basis
  • Sometimes require an upfront deposit

We also accept MintPay — a flexible “Buy Now, Pay Later” service for approved patients.

🚫 What’s Your Refund Policy?


No refunds are offered under any circumstances.

If you’re not completely sure about starting your treatment, please wait before making any payment.

In rare cases, and only at management discretion, we may allow you to:

  • Transfer the payment to a different procedure
  • Apply the payment toward a family member’s treatment plan

This is not guaranteed and is decided on a case-by-case basis.



🧾 Will I Get a Receipt?

Yes! You will always receive an official receipt and invoice.

If you need extra documentation (for insurance or visa purposes), just let us know in advance — we’ll gladly help.



💼 Insurance Assistance


We don’t directly process insurance claims, but we can support you with:

  • Treatment reports
  • Detailed invoices
  • Cost breakdowns for your insurance provider


⏰ Late on a Payment Plan?

If you're on a payment plan and you delay a payment:

  • We may apply a late fee
  • Your treatment may be paused until payment is resumed

We always try to contact you first and resolve the issue together.
